Rotary de-gassing of metal is the latest method of removing unwanted hydrogen gas from molten aluminium. By purging the molten aluminium with nitrogen gas the hydrogen gas is removed to the surface where it escapes to the atmosphere. This process also removes any unwanted particles from the molten aluminium.
